As long as you can get under the car its easy. The hardest part is fitting the shifter through the hole.
I give it a 3, slightly harder than installing a CAI only because it envolves lifting the car either with ramps or jack stands.
I'm a car noob and I was able to do it no problem.

With 1 being easy and 10 impossible, I'd say it was a 6 with driveshaft in place but a 2 if you drop the shaft off. It's wiggling the shifter through the floorhole which is the fiddly bit.

I would give it a 3 especially if you have a buddy helping you. Just take your time and watch how the old one comes out. I have done it a couple times without ever removing anything but the shifter (no transmission or driveshaft). Fiddle it around and take your time. . . .it will eventually drop in and fit in place.
