Default Hood Struts...

What are some good hood struts that I should get? Anything good under $100 that doesn't require drilling anything?

I believe there's at least two: MRT(?) and CDC. I've got the CDC and love it. I think the MRT is longer.

I believe all the strut kits has drilling hood involved.............but it's easy.

i like the mrt ones personally. the cdc's and mrt's are the same. except the brand name.

+1 I got some off Brenspeed (at least i think i did lol ) and polished them up, they look nice and use the stock bolts on your hood and fender.

Every time a hood strut thread comes up I ask about the Cobalt struts and if anyone has any experience with them, no one has responsed yet... Ill ask again anyways.[8D]

Anyone tried the Cobalts?

MRT and CDC are the same peice but I got mine from MRT because they offered the brackets in powder-coated black. It looks better than chrome on my black car. They do not require drilling.
