Default Just picked my GT up!

I just picked up my new Silver GT tonite.... 5 speed, no IUP, but the alternate Interior package (shiny spokes on steering wheel, but not on dash)

I called every dealer I could find and "discovered" my car about 6 miles from my house! It was the exact car I would have ordered!
While i was picking my car up, I met another new owner who was picking up the EXACT match to mine. His was on order since November. Mine was just waiting for me on the dealer's lot. I feel very lucky to have hit it just right!

Paid MSRP, but I know the dealer gave me some extra on my trade in... Not a bad deal, all in all.

I feel bad for those who have been waiting - it's worth the wait!

ps. SNOW predicted for tonite here in CT...

Congradulations on your new car. The more you drive it the more you will love it.

Since the originator of this post, listed color, and several options, I will list mine 4 ya too. As in the pic. firered paint, prem. GT (shaker 500) leather in light graphite, 5 spd. She has the stock wheels, from what I have seen discussed here I think they are called the bullet wheels, sport appearance pk, and wheel locks is it. Listed $26650.00, X_Plan was set at $24750.00.

I wanted a Mustang the last 5 years, but never had a beater car for the snowy winters here in Indiana. I hope to drive this one until the 06 or 07 SVT comes out. If I have my Harley sold by then.... Ka-Ching....upgrade it !!

Since the originator of this post, listed color, and several options,

ADHD (me) Gotta love it.

I really want an '05, but I have a 1/4 mile long hilly curvey drivway and it snows here so I need a 4x4. Also whenever I get a car instead of a truck for my daily driver I can't wait to get rid of it and get a truck again.

Is the firered the bright red or the darker red? I love the darker red

redfire is the darker red. I really like it too. I am 46 years old (the car makes me feel like a kid again, lol) and wanted a stealthy color. My beater is a 88 Caddy Eldorado, sounds silly but it is a V8 front wheel drive. It has been plenty good in the snow (4 inches or less), and you see a lot of them with over 200K miles on the clock.

My ideal combo.... Mustang and Truck, or maybe an 4X4 Escape. I just want to get the Mustang paid for first.
