I ordered my Mustang 2005 GT Premium 5 spd Manual on November 17, 2004 and the dealer still claims the factory hasn't pulled my order and that my interior upgrade package is on hold.

What I ordered:
- GT manual
- Anti Theft
- Int Upgrade
- Front seat Side Airbags

Anyone else having issues in the Orlando area? Cause this is getting ridiculous.. and I HATE waiting! [:@]

 

I bought my 05 GT last week. I heard that the IUP was on hold while Ford was in court over it. No one explained why. Speculation is that there may be right to manufacture issues over the color gauge feature. Not sure really. Mine only has the sport apperence upgrade. It might be interesting to look at window stickers on the dealership web inventory to see if any newer arrivals have the IUP.

Since I have a boring evening ahead (promised my 11 year old son, his X-Box buddy could come over and play). I will check it out for the Indy area.

My dads has the interior upgrade package. He got it at the dealership a couple weeks ago, its was there when he walked in.

 

My car was built Jan. 20 with the IUP. The problem is now that I can't get Ford to ship it. It was supposed to arrive at the dealer last Saturday, but the truck showed up with several six cylinders and two empty spaces - presumably one for my GT.
I called Ford customer service to gripe and was told that the car was rescheduled to be delivered Feb. 12. I'll be here holding my breath.
I ordered it Oct. 22. It was originally estimated to be here Dec. 23. Then it was Jan. 24. Then it was Feb. 5. Now Feb 12. I think this is the most poorly planned new car rollout in history.

 

I bought mine off the lot 3 days ago with the IUP. It arrived Monday, I looked at it Tuesday and bought it Wednesday. The dealer just happened to get a loaded Sonic Blue in the day after I called looking for one (incredible luck I guess). It had been ordered by the dealer as part of their allotment.
