Default Front grinding noise in wheel area...wtf?

Ok so my car just started to do this sound AGAIN (third time) and now it is really starting to **** me off.

It is in the front wheel section, its like a grinding noise and when I brake, it gets louder. Has anyone had this or is my car jinxed?

Took it to the dealer 2 times already and they fixed it... for like a month, then in came back... WTF is happening?

What does the work order say they "fix" when you get the car back?

That's the place to start.

Well, if it fixed it once, that is what is needed again.
P.S. are they just cleaning? That should be done every 5k or so.

the first time it started my car had 2k miles, and took it to the dealership and they told me they had fixed it by cleaning brake components. Left happy. Same story at 4.7k, fixed again, then I am now at 8k and AGAIN! Isnt there a permanent fix? NONE of my other cars have ever had this problem...

take the wheel off, take the pads off, and tell me what u c. look at the pads. look at the rotor. if your near-sighted like me, run your fingers along both sides of the rotor. its supposed to be smooth mostly.

"dirty components" hell its a pad on a rotor. anything except pad hitting the rotor will make noise, amplified by brake pressure.

Im not getting it. brakes are about the most primeval unchanging tech on the car. there is not a whole lot that happens with them... so there is not a whole lot that can go wrong with them (unless you get cute and drill holes in the rotor)

Try replacing your pads and see what happens - not too expensive and may just cure the problem.
