Default Stagered 18x9,18x10 Set

Been reading these forums here for a while but this will be my first post, so hello one and all. I have an 07 that i will be doing a 18' staggered set on soon. I have installed a Eibach pro kit and im wondering what the largest size set of rubber is that i can tuck in with little to no fender rub. So far my investigations on these and other boards suggest 295/40/18's on the front and 255/45/18's on the rear. This sound right? Thanks in advance.

305s are the widest you can fit on 10" rims. You can put a wider tire on, but youd probably have to go 10.5"

Whatever you do, don't do business with OE Wheels (ebay). They have no wheels that are the proper offset for the S197, but say 'oh, they fit.'

Welcome. 295s would look awesome, especially if you lower the car. If you get tires to wide for the rim,it will cause your side walls flex ,or bow in the corners, reducing their performance.

I'm running staggered AFR wheels in 18x8.5 & 18x9.5 here. Running 245/45 Nitto 555s front & 275/40 Nitto 555r rear. Perfect fit here.

Somebody was running 295/45/18's with the Eiback kit, but I don't recall who. If you want the widest all the way around you should be able to run 275/40/18's up front to.

Again thanks, i am kind of going for that throw back look which means fat wide side walls a bit rounded. It is kind of hard to explain if you have not seen it. Glad i asked you guys, thanks...
