I never actually considered that, but it sounds like a good idea!

I usually use my shop vac with the hose attached to the discharge side.

I tried the leaf blower, but our gas powered leaf blower blew out too much smoke and exhaust all over my clean car, so ill have to try the shop vac idea, but for some reason i imagine that doing the same thing, i have to figure out what we used to use when i detailed motorcycles at harley davidson in baltimore, it was a small air compressor, not sure how powerful, with a 6 foot hose, and a rubber funnel like tip on it, ill tell you though that was the greatest drying i have ever seen, would blow all of the water out of the nooks and crannies of the bike engines. i would love to use that setup on my car.......

Used to use the air compressor but no more. I wash, dry (indoors), drive amile or so down the streetapplying the brakes to bring a modest amount of heat to the brakes drying them outand removing any rust film from them. ...then back into the garage and dry any bit of water that was revealed from the short drive. Dry, cleanbrakes, no water spots.
