The drivers side headlight is a b**ch to get off, took me like 30 mins. You have to get your arm under the fuse box to get the light bulb.

What are the reception expectations for the shorty antenna? Same?

I can vouch for that. I've watched the stereo (ST) indicator blink on and off a lot more since changing to the shorty. But, I use my iPod most of the time (and the stations in Houston SUCK), so I couldn't care less.

AM radio won't be affected much. AM waves are bounced off the sky and back down. The height of an antenna doesn't matter for AM. You'll get better AM reception if it was lying down to receive more of the radio waves.

FM is broadcast out from an antenna and so the the height of your antenna matters.
