Default tire fault error gone?

so, two weeks ago i hooked my pony up with a new set of shoes - axis shine 19" rims with toyo performance rubber: they're awesome. ill consequences? only the obnoxious tire pressure error message on my display every time i turn the ignition key; certainly a small price to pay, since i don't feel like remounting my new wheels with the sensors.

yesterday i installed a new pair of clear turn signals - they look sweet, too, but also offered up a hidden surprise... i no longer get a tire pressure fault message any more! why is this so? i have no idea, and this is why i'm posting. i certainly didn't do anything special - the only thing i can come up with is that in detaching part of the wheel well liner, i disturbed the tire pressure monitoring system. of course i don't know that to be true, and it seems implausible, but i thought this might be of interest to those of you who have to put up with the irrepressible error message all the time. thoughts??

There's a very good chance it will come back (hopefully not though).

Where did you put the stock wheels and tires.
My 07 picks them up everytime I pull in the garage.
They are about 12' away in the shed beside my garage.

i'm thinking it may come back as well... but consider that it's been about 48 hours and that every time prior to this the error would come up. so far, so good.

as far as proximity is concerned, the stocks are in my house, not close to the car.

this is quite weird i know...
