Default Ford ipod interface

I was wondering if anyone has ever set up their stereo with the ipod interface from ford. I know it takes the RCA inputs so I was thinking I could get a cable like this: http://img.alibaba.com/photo/5072575...udio_Cable.jpgand then have it charge and play the music at the same time. What I was wondering is, can I cut that cigarette lighter adapter and just plug those wires into the AUX power in my car so when I turn on the car it charges the ipod? If anyone has any ideas please let me know!

I have the cigarette Ipod charger and the aux audio wire both plugged into thier respective locations inside the armrest.

Then I have them both hooked into the Ipod, I set the ipod on the cupholder flat, and close the armrest door over the wires.

It looks pretty clean and can be easily worked and charged while driving.

Hmm, I am still going to try to find out how I can cut one of those ends off and put it all behind my dash. I am going to be using one of the ipod mounts from proclipusa.com

This cable will work on all 2007 and 2008 models to allow you to add a ipod to your factory radio(this is the same cable that you are looking for). There is also a link in the auction to a microsoft zune cable that will also work... Check in out at http://search.stores.ebay.com/Autowa...341785QQsofpZ0
