hard installation
Seeing as I need to get my backseat fixed due to a burn hole, the dealership said it would be $360 including installation for just the dark charcoal cloth seats. So i was thinking instead of doing that would it be worth it to do this instead http://newtakeoff.com/index.asp?Page...mp;ProdID=7814 also how hard would the installation be on that??
Go for it. The work is super easy. Reupholstering the car is something you should be able to do yourself in one day. The front seats will be the most difficult the backs are super duper easy though. You will need basic hand tools and some needle nose pliers in case they used hog rings to secure the seated area to the foam. It should however be just plastic edge fasteners and then Velcro basically in the seated area. I redid my F-150 a couple years back and went from cloth to Leather. Just take your time and it will go good.
