Do we have an 18 Gallon Tank..???
I know we're supposed to have a 16 gallon tank, but when I filled her up yesterday at Shell 9.2 gallons went in, and on my message center it read 9.0 gallons used!
Either that Shell station is ripping everyone off, the message center can't do the math, or I have an 18.2 gallon tank.
Color me confused................

The gallons used in the message center does not reset automatically. I believe we have 16 gallon tanks, I usually can't fit more than 14 gallons in my tank.

I hear what you are saying. When I fill up, the message thingy says I can go 325 miles till empty or close to it, but I get 27.4 mpg so if that is right, I should be able to go 438 miles till empty. I don't think it knows much about math.

No, it was just a stupid mistake on my part- for some reason I thought that the message center meant there was 9.0 gallons remaining before I filled her up with 9.2.
Chalk it up to my rapidly aging (57 years and counting...) brain cells.
