most new cars, w/out the keys, it's more difficult then it is worth.

i hear one new thing thieves are doing is waiting at gas stations and getting into people's cars while they are pumping gas.

don't leave your keys in the ignition when you arepumping gas.

also beware of burglaries. they get into your house and take your keys off thehook and steal your car.

That's good advice. I need the keys to get the locking gas cap off though. Doesn't our active anti theft not alow it to be towed or jacked in some way?

Anything can be stolen if the thief wants it badly enough.

Locks do nothing but keep the good people away

If I wanted to I could have one taken in 10 minutes with no tow truck. Driven away. He probably got it towed jacked.
Explain yourself master theif.
I say it cannot be started without
a programmed key. Now towing
it off is possable.

But modern electronics keeps the stupid theives at bay.
No programmed key, no starty unless you have access
to dealer programming tools.

You mean some big hammer that pops out of the trunk and hits the
tow truck driver theif on the head? Or a big claw that clamps the
car to the ground? Or a trunk full of murcury that makes the stang
too heavy to tow? Or locking pins in the hubs that makes him have
to drag it off?

I will have a key already cut. And I have the tool needed to program a blank key. Thats why it would take 10 mins. Leave your car somewhere unchecked for 30 min and I'll show you.[sm=joke.gif]

Dont worry about it, not many people have them.

But they are nice to have when you need it =)
