I have 35% http://s229.photobucket.com/albums/ee36/thewarmachine_01/

I have mostly black interior with parchment under dash and along doors, but the front and rear dash are black. I think the 35% is too light sometimes, but just about the time it begins to get dark outside the tint really looks dark. I went with the legal tint because I am not in the mood for hassles from cops or certain inspection places. My windshield has no tint.

Hey War Machine are you sure you have 35% and not 38-40%? It really looks like my stang is darker than you and I am AZ legal at 35%. It could be the lighting too.

I know that it's SUPPOSED to be 35%. Yours does look darker...better. Mine is very hard to detect on a bright dayunless you look at the windshield with not tint and compare. It kinda stinks that legal tint isn't any darker. I may have to get the back redone because I see a line that isn't adhering.

God I love Alloy Metallic! You have a hot lookin ride there!!!
Thanks!! I noticed we have thesame tire setup, except I run 305's in the back. So far I love them on thestreet but I couldn't hookup at the track first time out lastFriday. Tonight's a whole newchance though...
I plan on stepping up to a 305 in the rear next spring, did you have any issues with rubbing?

Sorry for getting off topic....

well illinois bites as far as the tint law goes, we arent allowed any tint on front or door windows. the sad thing is i believe there are only 2 states that have this law. all the rest of the states are at least reasonable about it.

No rubbing, I am lowered approx 2" with the saleen race suspension, very stiff, plus I have a 100-125 pound custom audio setup in the trunk, that lowers me another .5"s.

I just got mine done last Friday, in MD...I went with 20% because the sample they showed me on 35% was just too light. I asked which was their most popular and they told me 20%, I also have dark interior and am so glad I went with that choice. If I get pulled over for the tint then I'll deal with it then.

Rear (back) Window[*]If vehicle has left and right outside mirrors, there is no minimum light transmission requirement. [*]If not equipped with both outside mirrors, the rear window must have no less than 25% light transmittance and a luminous reflectance of 25% or less.

How dark the tint looks at 35% is directly affected by how much sun is out and the angle. I have 35% and sometimes it is really dark but direct sun is pretty light. I'm happy with it. These pictures were taken in full bright sun.
