My first GT(a 2005) was built on Dec. 14, 2004. My current GT(a 2006) was made(or more appropriately, completed) on May 19, 2006. Seems the 2006 is a bit better made, but the rattles(mostly in the door panel/door handle area) are starting to rear their ugly heads[:@]. The '05 had dash rattle, door panel rattle, door handle rattle, would have a fuel stavation when under a 1/4 tank(would act as if it were out of gas) and the trunk area trim panel fasteners all popped out and wouldn't lock back into place(The 2006 has different style trim fasteners, but they too aren't the snuggest, but they haven't fallen out[8D]). I read somewhere that the GT500s have dash/door panel rattle issues as well(lol). Maybe by 2011(when my car is paid off)the issues will be resolved[:'(]......................
