Default Calling all California Special owners

Can someone tell me if the California Special was available with the V6 spoiler as an option? Every CS I've seen in pictures have the GT spoiler. Mine came with the V6 spoiler when I bought it at the dealer. I prefer it over the GT spoiler. Here's some pics of it.

The california special is a GT so it has the GT spoiler as far as i know.....if you have a V6 spoiler someone ****ed up unless you asked for it.

I have to agree; I've never seen a CS GT with that style of spoiler. I would almost have to wonder if the dealer swapped it...

I got it on Ebay for $22.49 plus $30 shipping. What a deal! I installed it myself. It says no drilling required but you have to drill two 1/8" holes into the OEM grill for each side piece. The center piece requires no drilling and just bolts on. Took me under an hour to install the grill.

Since I bought my stang from The Ford Store as well, from my talking with the employees there, I can say pretty confidently that they don't domuchwork on their cars there. Do you know if it came from another dealer initially in a dealer to dealer trade, as that may explain the difference in parts?

Still, it definitely makes yours unique to many of the others out there, andit still looks good with the car

Yes, as a matter of fact...They had to bring my car down from Future Ford of Concord which is about an hour north of Morgan Hill. I didn't know what my car was going to look like when I ordered it. LOL! DOH! I was expecting it to come with a GT spoiler but I was pleasantly surprised.

That's weird...
So how many miles were on your car when you got it? Does the key fit in the keyhole for the trunk? Do you have the original window sticker? If you have a GT it really shouldn't have come with a V-6 spoiler. But at least the view out the back might be better!
