Default where is the coolant sensor

where is the coolant sensor on a gt? it may sound stupid but i havent seen the car yet, i am waiting to go
home but i want to know where it is at. if you can provide a pic.. thanks

do you mean the

a) engine H20 temp sensor
or
b) the coolant low level sensor

i mean the one that tells the gauge in the cluster that the car is hot. i need to plug my autometer gauges today. so i am trying to figure it out before i get home. thanks

what's the model # of your H20 temp gauge

i forgot its an electric ultralite pro commp. what makes a difference i want to know where is the stock sending unit :S

stock sending unit is at the center of the passenger side cylinder head under the intake manifold

it is actually a coolant temp sensor and not a stand alone sending unit. you dont want to take it out. need to find an alternative place to put your sending unit if you are installing an aftermarket gauge

Driver's side of the block, below the exhaust manifold. It's a plug with a recessed square hole in it. Make sure you have your Autometer adapter ready to go (thread sealer/copper crush ring) when you remove the stock plug - coolant will rush out when it's removed.
