Default Reinstall tune after dead battery?

My battery died the other day, and I was wondering if my battery dying erases my tune? Should I reinstall it just to be safe?

I don't think it should affect it, but I just wanted to be sure?

No it does not erase the tune. I thought the same thing but once it is in the pcm it is there to stay unless you reinstall the factory one.

I just got a new battery, 'cause my Sh****r 1000 was drawing power even with the key off. My tune was unaffected by the switch. But like you say, it only takes a minute to reinstall it, so it's no biggie.
