Default Lightning Force Performance - Warning

I made GT500 pulleys for LFP which they're selling on their website... invoiced them last November. Still not paid in full.

I had posted this in June. They sent me a partial payment so I waited for the rest. No such luck. I try calling Jesse but he hangs up and won't take my calls. Since this forum seems to be the only way to get his attention, I'll repost.

My previous post got locked beacuse another supporting vendor commented so I ask those folks to leave this alone.

Here was Jesse's response:

"Hello! This is Jesse@LFP, Mark is out of town this week. First let me thank Elisa for bringing this post to my attention and wanting both sides of the story before making presumptions.

Although I am in no position to post LFP's personal business dealings on a public forum, I will say there are 2 sides to every story. I am in contact with Mark as we speak.

Hundreds of packages ship from LFP daily, in the course of packing them human error does play a role in the possibilty of a few bolts missing out of the kit. A Simple phone call or e-mail informing LFP that a component was missing from your package is all that's needed to correct the situation.

LFP does answer e-mails, phone calls, and return voice messages every day. Matter of fact we have 5 full time salesman on staff to do just that. In the course of an average day LFP will receive hundreds of e-mails and phone calls from customers wanting tech support, advise, and tuning questions. Yes, Mark does own a Home Building business that is successful no matter if market is up or down. However all his attention (10-12 hours a day) is devoted to the Ford Performance Market. This has been the case for 7+ years as we continue to distribute, fabricate, and market new parts for the Ford aftermarket community. So please refrain from foolish comments... "

I wonder if Mark's still out of town because we still haven't been paid in full. Our company makes other products for supporting vendors on this site and have not had a problem getting paid by them.

Jesse, you know how to reach me.

If I read Jesse's response correctly, he didn't even read your complaint. It sounds as if he thinks he's dealing with a customer who didn't receive all the parts he ordered. And you are selling parts to him!? Think I'll steer clear of LFP.

It's always a pisser when businesses have to coerced to act in good faith. What a shame it had to happen here.

I was going to order some stuff from them for my L but I will take my business elsewhere after reading about the way they do business with their suppliers. I know they sure want payment in a hurry.

This is unlike LFP. Mark holds a very good reputation over on the NLOC.net message board. He's one of the SV's that people praise a lot over there. Hope you get things straightened out with them.

It did sorta sound like Jesse's response was unrelated to the original dispute. Jesse's talking missing parts and human error while the original post addresses the issue of not being paid...

Hope it's not the run around.

They gave my buddy the wrong pulley for his cobra, a bracket that wouldnt fit, and something else that I dont remember what it was that wouldnt fit. I truied to tell the people in the new edge SVT area but they just kept telling me it was BS. I dont know if it was you or someone else but I read a thread somewhere that they didnt pay for the parts they made for LFP. I think it was heat exchangers but I could be wrong.
