Ok what the hell are you guys talking about? I have the anti-theft system and all I can get it to do is make the horn honk and open the trunk. And of course keyless entry.
Do you have two sensors pointing toward the doors from the side of your map lights? That will tell you if you have active anti theft. If you lock your car and use the unlock button on your key fob try holding it in the unlock position for an additional 2 to 3 seconds. If your windows drop on both sides you have the complete system. Mine does all of this plus the drivers door key will raise the windows if you get out and forget. Just stick it in the door lock and turn and hold to one side or the other. Form other post's it looks like not everybody has these options.

Seriously though I dont think the anti-theft system is that great. At least you get keyless entry. I would go aftermarket and spend a little more. I have it on mine and I jiggle the handel, shake the car and never set it off.

That`s it ? $255 for that !!
All of the new Stangs come with keyless entry standard.

Hold the unlock button down longer. It takes more than 2 or 3 seconds. More like 5+ seconds.

I held the button down for 30+ seconds and the windows will not go down.

I had never tried to drop the windows this way so I gave it a try because I do have the active anti-theft with mine. When I first tried it didn't work either. It did work after I enabled it by hitting the lock button twice to activate the anti-theft feature. After I did that and then held down the unlock button for about 5 seconds the windows dropped just as described. When I placed the key in the door and turned it to the right the windows went back up.

Give that a try and see if it works....

Thanks for the input. I read on another forum that Ford was disconnecting the windows down feature because of problems in the system. I don`t know if this is true

That's curios, I hope not. I know during the summer that could be a nice feature to be able to lower your windows before you get to the car. Especially when your an impatient old fart like myself

I tried that and it still did not work. When I bring it in for the first oil change I will mention it. Thanks for the suggestions
