i hear ya loud and clear

i did feel cheated, when i opened the
box and saw it for the first time.....

after awhile, i realized it actually matches the
intake manifold better and i grew to like it.

get that baby mounted up, so we can hear how
you like it

Hammeron,

One more question...did you decide to use the oil that Whipple supplied or go with the comparable Motocraft oil that they suggested in the manual? I looked everywhere for the Whipple stuff and it is impossible to find. The Motocraft oil is easily available so I figured that would be the best choice. What did you decide?

I am just waiting for my dad to get back into town before I start the install. He's the gearhead/perfectionist that I need to get it done. I figure I will do it Fri, Sat, Sun of this upcoming week (hopefully).

What happens when it's time to change your Whipple oil? Where do you get it?

Sometimes I just go out into the garage and cradle the supercharger...I whisper sweet nothings to it to ensure that it is not feeling neglected...you know how that goes .

I filled mine 2 days before the install when it was still sitting in my spare bedroom. I just knew if I didn't, i'd forget to fill it and be SOL!

Don't bend up the float on your new fuel pumps like I did. Float goes towards the passenger side, big arrow/electrical connector towards the drivers side. I'm sure you'll do fine, it's really quite easy.

it should be.....

Oh yeah, if you knock some of the rubber feet off the pump basket, they are easily retrievable with a long flatblade screwdriver.
