I actually installed Granatelli's two solenoid kit yesterday. The fit and finish was great, but like you I had trouble contorting my hands to put the solenoids in the location the instructions specified. Also, bleeding the brakes was a pain in the ***! I couldn't believe how filthy the brake fluid was on a car with only 6K miles. I went with the dual solenoids because they enter the brake lines after the ABS box rather than a single solenoid before the ABS box. I don't want the ABS to "pulse" and leave my car scooting forward. I've heard that the single solenoid kits are working great for most people, but I'm one of those "better safe than sorry" types. Granatelli's kit also came with a crappy switch, so I bought a toggle from autozone and used it instead. I have M/Ts for the track, so I won't be roasting my pirellis.

Hmmm, I didn't bleed the brakes, could that be a problem? [:-]

I did notice that the brake fluid was very dirty as well. I thought that bleeding the brakes was very easy, I think that took me about 10 minutes to do.

sounds good... I'm going to do my brakes this spring... (new Stainless lines and pads) so I might as well do this at the same time.
You might as well if you're going to use them. I've heard people say you need 2 solenoids but this kit seems to work fine with 1.
Yeah...ima look into that 2 solenoid granetelli kit [8D]

I try to stick with Summit Racing since their HQ's are about 1/2 hr from my house. Much easier to return stuff if you can walk into a store. I don't believe they carry the Granatelli kit but I'm sure it's a good one.

It took me longer because I kept getting up from under the car to tap the solenoids with a wrench to release air bubbles. It seemed like every time I thought all the air was out, another tiny bubble would pop out. Maybe I'm just too much of a perfectionist, but I bled out about 20 ounces of fluid. And yeah, the brake fluid looked like coca-cola. I'm actually glad I purged as much as I did, because the last fluid I saw come out of the bleeder valve was starting to look clear.

I just bled them until I saw no bubbles then had my helper push the brake one more time for good measure.

I installed line locks on my car the other night. These were put on for serious drag race use but figure there's no harm in having a little fun with them.

That was my favorite mod just after the S/C. I love sitting there and roasting the tires right before I race. It's a good security factor knowing that you won't go flying forward unless you release the button.

Congrats on the install, keep us posted if the 1 silenoid works good or not, I prefer 2 (I have the Granatelli system too).
