Default Trip Odometer Problem, anyone?

I reset my Trip Odometer everytime I fill up my tank so I can see how many miles I got out of my last tank of gas. Well I've noticed that the first time I have to restart my car after getting gas, the trip odometer is at 0 again. anyone else hear of this?

I can reset my trip mileage without a problem, but have never been able to reset the trip time.

What a long strange trip it's been! [&:]

Warranty. Just bring it to a dealer.

Sorry, I will not subject my car to dealership "test drives" to remediate such a trivial problem. Hell, I haven't even taken it in to get the frozen E-brake problem fixed because it's not worth it to me to imaginethat somelame-brain dogged the hell out of my car and put a bag of Taco Bell on the passenger seat for the "lunch test."
