Default Are the louvres defective or ami I?

Installed my louvres a couple of weeks ago, stick on kind. made sure the glass was very clean, bought wax remover to ensure that the glass was ready for the adhesive tape. just realized that the top corner of the tape is starting to peel off. What would cause this???

It did rain last week, should i have let it "cure" longer before getting it wet?
glass not clean enough?
tape problem?

probably a combo of all three, but since there is a corner lifting, through time and weather the rest will eventually start to come off also.

What can i do to stop this and prevent it from happening again? your input is greatly appreciated!

If the wax remover left any kind of residue, that could have caused the tape to come loose. I'd pull the louver off, strip the old tape, prep the louver surface and install new 3M tape, prep your mounting surface again (try 90% or higher isopropyl alcohol), watch your temperature when mounting (I think 65-80 degrees?)and allow a good 24 hours to cure after mounting.
