@ supersport car meeting Friday

I shouldnt go on the track in the first place with my almost slick tires (2nd season on PZnero!!) as circuit was rather a lake than a track with heavy rain throghout the day






I went with other 3 Stangs, friends w Z06 Vette and 911 Carrera... (they both did pretty good, Porsche 8th best time, Z06 11th best)



I was going about 80mph in a lightly turning left straight (under dry conditions 120 mph easy), slide off and went toward the barrier. I tried hard but not enough as wet grass gave me about 200 meters slide....

Why would they even allow anyone out on the track on a day like that. Standing water is the worst hazard on any driving surface?

plus you learn a lot as you are no hazard to others just to yourself

i really dont much care that I had a crash like that. It will be paid by insurance and work is about 3 days including paint....

btw my "best time" was 3:11, best overall that day was 2:16 by BMW M3 E36 and my circuit best time on dry is 2:09
