Do you have the 3.375 pulley or something smaller?

1+ to both of you! I am running 11psi on my Whipple but I never beat the carp out of it and it is a weekend driver/nice weather driver and used for show. So I guess there is the answer for why mine has not blown (yet). Hope fully it wont (knock on wood).

I don't like where the ProCharger gets its air from....way in the back of the engine. Seems like that would be a very hot place to take on air.

PSI doesn't blow motors, detonation does. 10psi or 12 psi even can be safe if tuned safe. Having said that when mine blows I'm going with a bullet 3V and going for the 10's.
You don't need detonation for the stock assembly to come apart. All you need is to much horsepower and torque.

Nah, it's all hot under the hood. I'd be surprised if there is much difference by the time it gets to the combustion chamber.

Not going to argue with you, but the first thing that will kill a motor is detonation, not hp and tq. If someone is stupid enough to dump 20 psi into a stock 3V and expect it to do anything but blow up, well he gets what he deserves. If someone puts 13 psi into a 3V and uses a safe AF and tune, plus a cooler or meth I'd say he has a decent chance of that engine living awhile.

Yeah, I'll be stayin' at 8 for a while. I like the peace of mind. Besides, if I had to dump thousands in this thing for a new motor, I'd just blow my brains out.

I'm running 11.5 PSI with no problems.

I am going 10psi tomorrow on my KB with the hopes of it holding up. I pull to redline almost daily, but that is the extent of the abuse.
