Yeah, I'll be stayin' at 8 for a while. I like the peace of mind. Besides, if I had to dump thousands in this thing for a new motor, I'd just blow my brains out.
Only $3k, if you do it yourself. That's my plan for the future, looks like fun.

cheap is not my thing better than jones is so what short blok or long block and by who. we have a disavantage 9psi dyno tuned auto trans inmy area 3300 ft above sea level make arounf 383 to rwhp mustang dyno for sume reason all you boys doen south make more one problem is pump gas is only 91 octane here. i rum race fuel so not an issue

Well you can't go wrong with that setup, but that's basically a whole new engine. I'm just talking about a forged block and swapping the stock heads and cams. it's nice to know for $6k I can get a whole new forged engine with heads/cams.

An SHM motor will stand up to way more power than that, and at roughly the same price.

Again, why havent you considered a new rotating assembly for around 2K?

can not go over the 900 flywheel or transmission will be gone againI just want to get in to the 11's in alberta thats tough at 3300 ft and want ot be able to drive it on weekend have 2008 roush charger convertible i can drive every day with the smaller pulley 427 hp they say only made 300 hp on dyno at 3300 ft and can not tune jacks ****

All about the tune. I dont hit 12psi until 6000rpm and I RARELY get there. A rotating assembly is on standby when the **** hits the fan!
