Everything I've read says there are locator pins on the GT emblems.... The question is - what's the spacing and location of the holes in the fender?

I've been thinking of the older mustang emblems with the red, white and blue stripes and wondering if the would cover the holes that are behind the GT emblems... does anyone know the exact hole pattern (are they level, or on an angle.. how far apart...)
