Cut spring stops after lowering? pic
I was looking tonight at the amout of travel in the rear suspension after putting Steeda Ultra Lites and 285/30/20's as the rear seems pretty stiff now. The distance from the rubber stops in the rear to the frame is only about 1inch from the frame. ie 1 inch of suspension travel before I hit the rubbers. Should I cut these down some? I do not want to go too crazy as the 285's I put in the back are right in line with the fender lip, I don't need to create rubs by giving the car more travel.

Has your car bottomed out often since the spring install? If not thanI would leave them and not cut them as they are there to prevent too much compression of the rear suspension and this will help prevent damage to the tires and other components!

No problem and I have the same springs in the rear and they are stiff and they are supposed to be that way (better performance-less squatting with hard exceleration). They may settle a little bit but that really will not change ride height much regardless.
