Those are nice forged rims for cheap... er than normal. OZ makes wheels that are slightly less in weight if that even I mean look at their GALILEO III's they are heavy as anything else and 3x as much as lets say a Dale E or a Motegi Racing both which are nice

Steeda wheels are not light!
I was interested in their ultralites and their pentars in an 18x9 and 18x10 set up.
The ultralites were 28 and 29 lbs and the pentars where in the low 30's.
Stock 17" with stock Pirelli tires weigh 50lbs. Most tires that are 255/45/18 and 285/40/18 are 30+lbs, so you are talking about an extra 10lbs per corner.
If I remember correctly, for every lb you add to unsprung weight it is the equivalent of 4lbs sprung weight. So I would think adding those heavy wheel tire combo would negate an Aluminum DS.
With that said even American Racing torque thrust wheels on the tirerack 18x9 and 18x10 weight 26lbs or less. Volk, SSR, Enkeil, BBK, and numerous others on the tirerack are lighter than stock wheels. The trick is most of the light weight wheels look like they should be on imports and not muscle cars.
Its hard, trust me I have been looking for a long time. I wish the makers of the rims that look good on our cars were light weight as well.

I just bought a set of BBS RGR's from tire rack. They did cost $700 a peice but I was able to get 18X9 for the front and 18X10 on the backs. The fronts have to be ordered from Japan and will take a while but I think the weights were 18 and 19lbs respectively.
