Personally, I hate the software that the forums have built in to handle picture posting. It is easier to go with an outside host IMO, plus you're not restricted by size limits.

Go to www.photobucket.com and sign up. Once you sign up, sign into your account. Once you get into your account you will have a place where you can upload your pictures to your page. Once the pictures are uploaded, you simply look under the picture and the 3 different lines of copyable character, and grab the one that has the [IMG] tags around it. Copy that link, paste it into your post, change the capital [IMG] on both ends of the link to lowercase [img], and now your picture will show once you post. If it doesn't, then you can ask us for help....
