C6 grill on v6

C6 grill on v6
im really wanting to get the c6 grill ( without shelby lettering) on my v6. it says it will only fit the c6 front fascia but the grill size looks EXACTLY the same as the normal v6 grill size. has anyone tried this or know if it will work? it is one of the best looking grills for the 6 imo. thanks,

There is an entire C6 section at the Shelby forums, I'm sure one of them have done this mod without the fascia or you could ask them. http://forum.shelbyautos.com/ Here are the pics of the grill for those who asked.

Watch out man...
GTs and V6s grilles are different. The slots are spaced out differently

Here is a pic of a GT grill crammed into a V6 bumper. It was
promptly removed and sent back to the eBay seller who said
it would fit.[:@]
