Hey guys, we had a cooler morning the other day and when I went to startup my Stang, in idle, it sounded like my Flow masters were rattling a bit. Once I got moving everything was ok. Also, I don't get this problem when I start it and it's warm out. This makes me think it's something with the cold, perhaps the ring clamp needs tightened while it's cooler out? Maybe it expanded just slightly more than the pipe. Oh well, thanks in advance.

 

Samething occurs with my slp loud mouths. Have not tried to adjust yet though.

 

Time for some other mufflers. I bet its the start of what has happened to mine.

Oh WOW... I will have to keep an eye on that. They will give me my money back if that happens within warranty right? They're only a little more than 6 months old. Probably around 6,000 miles on them now.

 

They should, I think the warranty is 1yr. mine are 21 months old

 

Keep an "ear" on the drivers side......usually at about 1900 RPM......That's where the rattle started on mine.....KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!! Flowmaster will replace them. They replaced mine at 16 months old......

 

The receipt thing may be an issue :-\

I did register online though, I hope that will be good enough!
