So long story short, don't order it from here unless you're fine with having the larger pad. I wasn't. They're issuing a calltag to pick it up and giving me a full refund, shipping included.

UPDATE to this link: I ordered a keypad from here and received it today. It is NOT the smaller style keypad, it's the larger one. The stock number on their website is for the smaller keypad but they sent out a bigger one. I called and their story is that their Ford guy told them there was no difference and the part number on the box (for the larger pad)had been marked out with a sharpie and the new smaller keypad part number was written on. They were very apologetic and said they were going to pull the item from their website because they'd been having some other complaints/issues with this item (ya think?).

The problem is that they list the new/smaller keypad part number with a pic of the larger/old design of the keypad. My bad for ordering based on the part number without confirming but their bad for listing a part number that does not match the pic they show of the item for sale.
The part number listed ontheir website is 7L2Z-14A626-BA which matches a keypad shown at this link:
http://www.fordaccessoriesstore.com/...ries.asp?id=38
The keypad that was sent to me is part number 3L2Z-14A626-AA and is the keypad shown at this link:

ahh, so the one that partsbill has is the old design, i was thinking that was the new design....my bad...hmm maybe i will return mine, cause that one fits into the gas compartment!
Hi new member here I just received this keyless pad (old Style) as a gift for my 2007 V6, and I like the under the gas cap location. The only question I have is the programming procedures only list up to 2004 Mustang, which method do you use to program a 2007?
Thanks for the help

All Other Vehicles NOTE: If your vehicle is equipped with Integrated Keyhead Transmitters IKTs, you do not need all the IKTs to program the RF keypad to your vehicle. 9. Make sure that you have all of the Fobs and RF keypads for this vehicle. 10. Unlock your vehicle electronically with the Fob or door unlock button. 11. Put a key in the ignition. 12. Turn the key from the OFF position to RUN (not START) position eight times within 10 seconds with the eighth turn ending in the RUN position. The doors will lock, and then unlock, to confirm the vehicle is in programming mode. 13. Within 20 seconds of completing the previous step, press any button on Fob 1, if equipped. The doors will lock, and then unlock, to confirm that the Fob has been programmed. 14. Within 20 seconds of completing the previous step, press any button on Fob 2, if equipped. The doors will lock, and then unlock, to confirm that the Fob has been programmed 15. Within 20 seconds of completing the previous step, press the 7/8 and 9/0 buttons simultaneously on the RF keypad 1. The doors will lock, and then unlock, to confirm that the RF keypad has been programmed. Repeat this step if more than one RF keypad is used. 16. After all remote entry transmitters have been programmed, turn the ignition to the OFF position. The doors will lock, and then unlock, to confirm that the vehicle has exited programming mode.it's easier to program your keypad before you install.
shop manual says you can program up to 8 keys, I assume you would be able to program up to eight key fobs, check your owners manual, I believe it tells you how many can be program, or just try it.
