Concentrate on being safe over there and return in one piece.
The Mustang will come in due time and it'll be more enjoyable then.

One more thing: THANKS FOR SERVING THE COUNTRY.
It's already been said, but "+10000000000000000000000000000"

+1 thanks for serving us USMC, good luck, and you'll have that pony quicker than you know it.

Was in the Army myself so know how you feel. Just take care of the "coming back" part. Thats the most important thing!

Thanks for your service!

I was just about to sign the papers for my new stang... waiting to leave my unit, (Marine Corps Reserves) and then it happened. "Congrats devil dogs, you're the 28 chosen out of the company to goto Iraq this coming January", with an obvious sarcastic tone in his voice.. (Mother eff)

Soooooo after drooling over these forums for the last few months and just about have every after market item/part picked out for the new stang this BS happens.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Corps and the country... its just this happened at an agrravating time. Not to mention I started a new job at the Post office making bank and will lose around $10,000+ for the approximate 12 months I will be at the sandbox.

Long story short I am now on the waiting list again and will have to settle for driving my 96 vert around, reading the forums everyday, and learning more and more. So keep on keepin on and I'll continue to stay jealous I WILL have 1 eventually though.... be afraid

P.S. I guess its SORT OF a good thing not to purchase the 08 being that the 09 is supposed to be a new model/maybe engine?? Atleast I'll come back and have a huge down payment to drop on it. I guess that's the onlyyyyy bright side, heh
Semper Fi my friend and you're right, you'll be able to get an '09 now. Thanks for your service and ignore the political wack jobs looking to **** on the job you're doing! Rock on my brother from another mother and come back home safe!
