Default 05 Coupe V6

I'm looking to go for the V6, dad wants to keep the insurance a lot lower than showing the company a 300 HP V8, and were gonna get a top of the line coupe V6, is there anything bad about? how do you think dual exhaust would sound? thanks

Not a bad compromise. I believe the V6 has 210HP. Should be a lot of fun to drive. Good Luck!

Haven't heard the V6 running, I like my 05 V8 factory exhaust for now. With 210 ponies on tap, I bet the V6 will be great fun to drive.

Enjoy the car when you get it !!

The factory exhaust sounds awesome. After buying the V6, I can't see what all the GT fuss is about. My V6 flies.

I am sure the 6's run strong. Plenty good for many. If you haven't driven a GT, then skip it for as long as you can resist. At almost 43% more horse power, it is just more of a good thing. You will have to have it, if you are anything like me. lol

Enjoy the car, they are all such a pleasure to drive. I couldn't believe how well an 05 goes around a corner. Wow !! Nothing like my last 18 years of trucks!! Ha Ha

The actual dyno on the V8 is 265hp. The V6 is much lighter and produces the more HP than the early 289s and most 5.0s. The V8 just isn't worth $6,000 extra. The insurance is a lot higher too.

true, the v6 maybe be lighter, but a little more weight makes no difference when u have 90 extra HP. If im buying a mustang, id be buying it for the speed, if i wanted cheap insureance then i would get an I4
