I have been ready alot of things saying there will be alot of now things and changes
to the 2009 Mustangs. Will it be worth waiting?

From what i've heard the 2009 mustang will have a stronger engine to be on par with the new camaros and challengers and i think mustang will have a chin lift.

I don't think anybody really knows anything yet. Someone said in a different post that his cousin (I think) works high up in Ford and the hood might be longer... all the rumors have been saying the front will look more agressive, more of the GT500 type angles. But then again who knows...

All articles out there seem to point to a front end change, more rounded bumper and hood possibly more flush with grille and different placement of signals.

I think 09 will be pretty much the same as 05-08. SN95's lasted for 5 years, new edge's lasted 6 years, I can't see ford redesiging the S197 after only 4 years.

Caution

I'm hearing more power and new motor .. back to the 5.0 is the word I got... trying to stay up to par with all the cars coming out ... 2009 is too far out to know anything in concrete... there are tons of rumors out there about what it'll look like, the power it pushes, the motor, etc... we'll see in time what ford decides to actually do... maybe this year SEMA will release something but I doubt it

From what I've heard it could be the new 5.0 which would be awesome. Come on Ford...5.4!!!! Haha.

I think the restyle will take place in 2010 (although the car will be introduced in summer of 2009). That is my best guess.
