bbk tb has worked flawlessly on both our gts. gained a tenth in the 1/4 without a tune so about 10 hp would be correct. I used the jlt II intake and dynoed before and after and gained 22 rwhp with it. cant say with the bbk cai, but I would think you would need a tune after adding the intake or it would run lean and turn on the check engine light

They most likely got a 27rwhp gain or else that would be false advertising. That doesnt mean it going to take your car from 300rwhp to 327rwhp. It may take your car at 3500rpms from 233 to 260. Duh. Go look at dyno sheets in the magazines and you will figure out where they get the numbers from.

Also I have a BBK TB and BBK LTs and mid pipe. I love all 3 items. I persoanlly had no problems with my TB just the spring that is inside of the TB which I took from my oem TB and put on the BBK TB.

I think that people who have problems just dont know what the fukk they are doing. Oh and regardless if I got a few hp or not what else performance wise am I going to do? I have every other bolt on even the no hp delete plates.(which is BS b/c you can feel the pull up top with the delete plates.

EXACTLY! Its about time someone on here used their common sense.

I hate how everyone " Oh i added long tube headers, they say 17 hp. I was at 300 now i should be around 317"...WRONG!

This is why UDP's "claim" 10 hp. They do not raise your peak hp one bit. If you put on UDP's and were at 280 hp, yoy may see 281.

Same thing with LT headers. You may see a 5-8 hp increase at the peak.

Yeah ive tried explaining that about 3 times here on the forums but I dont think anyone notices[&o] b/c the same questions get asked time and time again.

Another thing people need to look at is not the hp gains from 1 mod by itself but with combined mods. Like a cai helps breathe better but all that air is trying to ram inside that same hole going into the intake. Add a bigger TB and maybe you maye get a few more hp than a TB or cai by itself. This is really true for cams and heads.

I haven't once in the time I have been here see one person rate and rave about purchasing any new throttle body. With a car that is basically stock like mine I wouldn't think it would benefit either. A modified engine yeah but ours I wouldn't believe it to be.

tb, cai, and udp's gained 4 tenths in the 1/4 so that averages out to get the gains that are being reported. also I hear a lot about headers, I already had the tb and cai and then installed the 1 3/4 lt headers along with the prochamber and gained 16 hp across the rpm range and 30 lbs tq between 5000 and 6500. that much gain probably wouldnt have happened without the tb.

yeah but what they really talk about in those advertisements is the most you can gain at ANY rpm. In other words if the highest gain appeared to be at 4000, then that's what they gonna tell you. Speaking of false advertisement call BBK and ask them whether they are willing to do a refund for you in case the gains are not what they are promised to be and you'll get "no" for an answer.

RPM------------------STAY AWAY many people on hear will tell u the same thing..

BBK...Not a big fan...Brenspeed did one and gained 7 HP with a Race CL CAI and CAMS ...So unless you doing something big..not worth it..

I see the one guy on hear has some BBK stuff...and is happy..But most guys i know are NOT happy with there product.. Thereis BETTER stuff out there...take your time and do some research..

Take some advice of many knowledgeable people on here, then decide, but get second and third opinions..good luck
