? on why alarm went off
Car has a factory alarm on it. I did not set the alarm just locked the doors. Was putting my plate away after eating and I heard my alarm going off. Went outside to see what was going on and I heard the horn going off and the lights flashing and then the horn stopped but the lights kept flashing. Looked over the car and all looked fine. Nothing out of the ordinary. Didnt see anyone or anything. ?????? hummm Anyone with any thoughts as to why it went off.

if you lock it the alarm arms and I had the problem of the wind setting it off all the time till I found how to adjust it

In mine I was able to park by the dealership, lock it, set the keys on the desk and it would go off after less then a minute
(strong winds just north of I-10) no other cars running no one anywhere near

Ill mess with that tomorrow. Could you potentially set it at a level so that if someone kicked it or agressively bumped into it it would go off, but not go off due to wind?

I never seen that in the owners manual. Also doesn't show the factory alarms have a shock sensor.....
Never noticed a override button under my instrument panel....

The Programming button is right by the light (the red alarm light)
