How different is V6 tranny drop/clutch replacement from GT?

How different is V6 tranny drop/clutch replacement from GT?
The most recent mustang enthusiast magazine has an article on doing some stuff to the V6, including changing the clutch, with pictures and all.... How similar is this to the GT? I know its a different tranny but is dropping it and replacing the clutch similar?
