My amp in installed above under the rear dash in between the 5x7s......you cant tell its there unless you stick your head in the trunk and look up. Takes no additional space so the install looks great!

The MTX thunderform can come with an amp built in but you have to remove it everytime you want to make an adjustment. That's why i got my own amp and have the controller in the center console. I'm not worried about it being in the middle of the trunk, I've had stuff on top of it for 2 years now and no issues. In the vert the trunk mat is one piece of carpet glued to 2 pieces of hardboard. The 2 pieces of hardboard areattached via metal plates. I removed the plates and attached the 2 pieces back together with a piano hinge. Now i have acces to the spare and stuff without disturbing the amp.

There is only one place to get a drivers side box and they don't come with the subs. They look good, but would end up being a very precey system to have.

Also, whats the deal with running the power cable from the battery back? Do you need resistors?

the simple explanation is even out the highs and lows voltage wise and that lowers the strain on the (charging system)
