is it what i think? something you put in the center of each of your wheels and it "spins" while you ride? as in it looks like a ghettofabulous spinner wheel?

Uh no, ifyou look at 05 mustangs that had particular rims these went on the centercap. They don't 'spin' on their own. A lot of classic mustangs had rims with these center caps.

No it's not what you think. This is just the normal Tri-bar Pony center caps. It has the 3 bars that come out from the center. A lot of people call it a spinner, some call it a knock-off. It's not the bling-bling spinner wheels you're thinking of.

They don't even give the effect of the "spinners" you're thinking of. These are only about as big in diameter as your basic center caps on your wheels now. They are fixed to the center of the wheel so rotate with wheel.

Here's a link to the picture of one on a wheel.

hahhaha they're not "spinners" in the Ghetto Fabulous way that you're thinking of

It's just an exterior mod it spins at the same rate your wheels/tires do.Just likeDerf00said it came with a lot of the older stangs... I like it IMO.

I think they're called spinners because they were used instead of lugnuts, and you "spun" them on to lock them in place. Don't quote me on that though.

anyway, these are meant to look like the ole ones and just replace the centercap

I say we should call these 3 pronged old-school caps "spinners" and the ghetto-fabulous ones "spinnaz" to avoid confusion and to make fun of anyone who would put spinnaz on their car
