While it is an interesting and fair question, the thing that gets you to 60 quickly is torque and even with the mods on the V6, the V8 still has plenty more torque. The gear is the best advantage for the V6, but I don't think it'll be enough. I'll bet it would be close.

OK so the V6 has 15.71 lbs per HP and the GT has 14.8 lbs per HP. Now add into the equation the mods to the V6 and I think the HP to weight ratio would be almost the same. The lower gears and weight would make the V6 quicker out of the hole. I think it would be very close.

You own a gt, I think you have been smoking crack. There is no N/A modded v6 that will beat a stock trim gt unless the guy in the gt missed 2nd and half of third....

It's a decent question, let's not turn it into a 
contest.
My opinion is the GT will win, and I'm guessing it has 3.31 gears if it's an automatic/ 3.55 gears if it's a stick. Average rwhp 262 (bone stock)
