The top 2 are both nice/safe 05 models of their medium steel cages. They are light wieght and are very sturdy, its what I am getting when I put in my KB twinscrew next year.

There is no such thing as a light weight mild steel. If you want a light weight you need to do chrome moly.
You said a cage and not a roll bar, so what are you looking for?
You only need a 6-point frollbar or under 11.49 coupe or 14.0 in convertible
You can buy a rollbar pre-fabbed from Autopower but they are not chrome moly.
Agent 47 has one for 1800 which I dont like.
The best bet is to have a chassis shop fabricate one for you. They average about 250-300 per point.
They will design it better to fit in your interior. That way you can decide where the main hoop anchors, how the sidbars are anchored, angles of rear braces and where they anchor etc etc.

That is funny because when I was planning the rollbar the stripes were suggested by forum members here. So we decided to do them. People always comment on them at shows etc.

This is what bothers me about the current time ruling regarding convertibles, I own a 2007 GT Convertible, according to motortrend my car should run a 13.8 in the quarter completly stock, now if I do that I would need a roll cage, however a helmet is not required until you run a 13.5 does that make any sense?

Those rules are unique to your track.
NHRA rule is anything lower than 14 secs requires helmet and convertibles require a legal 6-point rollbar under 14 seconds. If you compete in sanctioned events you can bet on it usually.
Whether they enforce that or not is per track
