Weird Exhaust Idea
Ok, first let me say that I have not tried this myself, nor do I know of anyone elsetrying this, but.....
Has anyone ever mixed mufflers? For instance, right side is a Flowmaster and left side is a MAC. Of course, you'd have to weld on matching tips, but I wonder what the sound would be like, and whether it would affect (reduce) cabin drone.Perhaps this is a good experiment for some of you guys with money to burn.

I think it would sound like crap to havetwo different exhaust tones comming from the back. Just imagine walking from the rear left to rear right while at idle, and you had flows+stingers on....not a nice sound.

RE: Weird Exhaust Idea
I'm a little disappointed........I'd have expected some person (you know the type) to pour cold water on the idea for nonsensical reasons like..."Well, you'll have a hard time buying just one of any type of muffler....blah blah blah...." .......or...... "Well, it won't look right underneath the car...blah blah blah...." .......or ........ "The balance in engine backpressure will be disrupted unless both mufflers flow the same, and it will ruin your engine.....blah blah blah.....". This type of person would probably also advocate using bottled water in your radiator and designer air in your tires. Come on, fellow....where are you? Show yourself! Hehe!
The only thing I could do is match a stinger with a stock. Seems like a project for a boring weekend.
