Default Eibach Sportline Springs and 20 inch Rims.

Anyone have a car with this setup? I got an 07 v6 with 20's and 245/35 tires and an thinking about lowereing. Pictures please. I have seen cars with the pro-kit but I havent seen them with the sportline. The diffenence is like .03 inches between the 2 kits butI heard that the sportline kit is to low or daily driving and will grind on everything. Even with 20's??? I want to go lower if possible but not if I will cause too many problems.

Also any pointers on installation? The shops I go to tell me thatall I will need are the springs. I have been checking around the forums and some people say I need new shocks and cc plates. Any one here actually have sportline spings with stock shocks. Or even the prokit with stock shocks? Anyone gettng problems.

I have the sprotlines and 20x10 with 285-30-20s and no issues with rubbing... I think mellowyellow is running sportlines and 20s as well with no problems.

When installing sportlines did you put in new shocks or cc plates? A few people say you need them if you lower this much. What happens if you don't. Anyone here running just the sportline springs?

I've asked that same question. From what I was told all you need to do is get the wheel alignment checked and also get a rear panhard bar to help re-center the rearend. Everyone says not to worry about replacing almost brand new stock shocks until they have worn out, and then get the upgraded shocks when you actually need them.

stock shocks, adjustable panhard bar, slotted front shock for alignment for me. I put just the springs in for awhile...then found out about the rear being pushed to the driver side alittle so got the panhard and then started to wear the front tires on the inside so my friend that does alignments told me he could slot my front shock to get it back to factory specs. did all that and no problems since...

I have the Eibach 1.5 kit and 20s staggered and never get any tire rub. But what you do need to know is puting a chin spoiler on the car like the the one used on the Cervini M 1 or B 9 kit runs very low with a 1.5 spring package.Getting in and out of driveways or any obsticle in the road can be tricky. The look is great but you just have to be carefull with road grade changes.

Thanks for the info and pictures guys. Im leaning towards the sportline over the pro kit because I dont think the prokits make a noticiable difference. But then again, I dont want to be grinding on everything and that is less likely with the pro kit.
For all the people with the sportline and stock suspension. Any problems? (shocks, camber, tire wear etc?) The picture posted look sweet. But i have the 245/35 tires.Wil that be ok?
