Painted my Bullits ... PICS * UPDATED*
So with my car being dark, having matte black stripes, all the lights tinted, windows tinted, the silver bullits looked out of place. I plan on buying wheels but not til after the winter. Couple weeks ago i threw out the idea in a thread and several suggested I go for it. Finally had a free weekend so off i went to the store, bough the stuff, and now its done. Let me know what you think.

I made a trip to Lowes and bought two cans of gloss black and two cans of clear. Also bought some green 3M sandings pads. Pretty much i removed the wheel, washed it with dish soap, taped off the lip and valve stem, removed center cap emblem, sanded the wheel, cleaned with mean grean degreaser, cleaned again with mean grean degreaser, made sure there wasNO dirt. Then hit with 3 coats of gloss black and 2 coats of clear. I'll take a picture of all the supplies i used. The paint was made by rustoleum. They had two types of gloss black but i bought the more expensive "professional enamel". I ended up only using one can of each, black and clear.
