Mustang Died!!
Today I was turning into Wal-Mart and my steering wheel got really firm and my car seemed slugish and then all the little lights by the mileage (engine, oli, ect.) came on, then it just died. I got out and check all my fluids and battery cables and everything was fine. I get inand try to start it and it wouldnt turn over and the about 30secs later it turned over....Anybody had this problem or know what it could be? **and no its not under warranty anymore**
it sounds like the engine stopped and then the battery died
the steering got stiff because you lostpower steering
the lights came on as they do when you turn off the engine but turn the electrical back on
is this correct
if so check the charge on the battery and the output of the alt.
if thats fine clean the TB

In the past few days my car has been starting for a split second, hesitating in an electronic kind of way, then physically starting up, and THEN the electronics and beepings would kick in.
I figured battery?
Tonight I replaced the battery and everything is starting up at the same time... Keep in mind itsa winter phenomenon that weak batteries die at the first hint of cold. Nothing proven, but you'll notice many people get it at the same time.
Its sort of like how computer hard drives in a company start to drop dead about June/July.... Nevermind. But its true.
