Default Problems Problems Problems

Wow, seems to me that the 05 mustang has a lot of problems. Was it always like this with mustangs, where there are problems? Like the 06 Mustang, will it have problems?

Just wondering as of March I am heading to chose my vechial. I made my mind on ither....

Any new production vehicle regardless of brand is bound to have some problems/recalls in it's first full year of production. Look at when they came out with the '99 Mustang (I have a '00 built in 8/99) It's had a few recalls (e-brake, seatbelt buckle, and throttle cable) The newer ones haven't had these recalls that I'm aware of. That's why I'm waiting to get a new Mustang '06 or '07. I don't want to be the guinea pig for a new production vehicle.

There isnt really anything wrong with them.... And youre thinking about a Hemi dodge, or a F-150!!! lol. Go ahead and then tell me how many problems you have. I'd be wise and pick the 05 Pony. Im still suprised there isnt more wrong with the 05 stang.

I always wait till the new vehicle has been out for 2 years... by then most of the quirks should be worked out.

Maybe it's just me but I have had my 05 Stang for two months now have put 2500 miles on it, and to tell you the truth I can't find anything wrong with it. The radio works great no CD skip, windows work great, power is unbelievable, personally I think that some people are just to picky when they buy something and try to find everthing they can wrong with it. But then again opions are like A_ _ holes everyone has one.

I did the Dodge truck thing for several years. What kept me there longer than anything, was I could get rid of a used one at a decent trade price. I had to go to another Dodge, then another. This was true with the Dakota line I was buying, don't know about full size. I jumped to Ford in 2001, then traded for an 2003 F150, in 03 (new). The 5.4l had plenty of power, but used lots of gas. It had an intermitant idle problem, and started hard once in awhile, it was in the shop three times.

After thinking it over, I scored an 05 Mustang deal, by watching dealer inventory, and calling while the cars were in transit (being shipped, my spelling stinks). I figure with the current demand for 05 Gt's, I can get back out easy if I need to. Currently, I like everything about the 05 GT experience, except maybe the need to be "scum" (refer to casper98 post). But hey I am even getting used to that !! lol

Best of luck with you decision !! I haven't missed my truck (and thats all I bought new since 1987) yet, Do the PONY !!
