Default black soot

I have an 07 vista blue mustang with white stripes and every time I drive ,even a very short distance I get black soot on back bumper and is noticable over th white stripe on rear bumper. It has to be from the exhaust. It is there even when I dont get on it hard.It only has 800 miles on it.Anyone else notice this on there cars?
Thanks

The only change to the exhaust is pypes axle backs.I have had a lot of high performance cars in the past and never noticed this before.

Perhaps you got the special edition Mustang with diesel engine? I have a Vista Blue 06 and no soot issues. Sounds like an improper fuel/air mix.

I never noticed any soot with stock cats on, maybe have the dealer check it out?

yeah the tips can get soot, that is normal, but to be on the actual car is not really correct IMO, your car is running crazy rich i think

Just out of curiosity: What brand and octane of gas are you running? Are you running a custom tune or stock tune? The reason I ask is - if you are running the stock tune and a high octane gas, such as 93, it can make your car run a bit rich...although what you report sounds excessive. I have pypes violaters and have not seen this problem.
